Vancouver, B.C., May 11, 2010. Harvest Gold Corporation (TSX.V: HVG) (the “Company”) is pleased to announce it has retained Progressive IR Consultants Corp. ("Progressive") as its investor relations and corporate communications service provider. Progressive is a Vancouver, BC, Canada based company owned by Kris Kottmeier, an investor relations professional with over 13 years of experience providing investor relations services for junior public companies.

Harvest Gold Corporation CEO, Rick Mark states: “We believe it is time to broaden the audience for the Harvest Gold story. Gold is trading at, or near, all time highs and our Rosebud Mine project is clearly a compelling ‘gold in the ground’ story. The team at Progressive understands the exploration business and has a track record we like. Our team looks forward to working with them in the coming months.” 

Progressive has been retained for a period of one year, guaranteed for six months, and will be responsible for building Harvest Gold’s investment audience through the dissemination of corporate data packages, broker presentations, broker communications, mining analyst communications, attending trade shows and handling shareholder enquiries regarding the Company.

Progressive will receive $7,500.00 (plus G.S.T) per month in remuneration and be reimbursed for all approved expenses. The Company will grant Progressive stock options to acquire 400,000 shares in the capital of the Company at an exercise price of $0.12. These options will be issued quarterly in 100,000 segments. The agreement and grant of options is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
