Harvest Gold Acquires Rocky Ridge Gold Property, Manitoba

Harvest Gold Corporation. (HVG
- TSX.V) November 9, 2006 (the "Company") is pleased to announce the acquisition
of the Rocky Ridge gold property, Lac du Bonnet Mining District, Manitoba.
The terms of the option grant
the Company the right to earn a 100% interest in the property by completing a
schedule of property payments totaling $60,000 over a 2 year period and issuing
500,000 shares of the Company to property vendor William Kuran. The property is
subject to a Net Smelter Royalty of 3%, two thirds of which may be purchased for
$500,000.The property is comprised of 7 contiguous claims covering an area of 11
square kilometers.
Gold mineralization was
discovered on the property in 1993. The exploration program which followed
included prospecting, airborne magnetic-VLF geophysical surveying, and a small
drill program of 187.6 meters, completed in 1997. No further exploration is
recorded in Provincial Government archives after 1997.
The property covers a 7km
length of the East Peterson Creek Deformation Zone where 4 separate gold target
areas have been identified. The most significant gold occurrence to date is the
“A” zone where a quartz vein reported to be hosted in altered porphyry intrusive
has reported grab sample values of up to 140.6 g/t Au. Two diamond drill hole
intercepts into the zone reporting 0.7m of 11 g/t Au and 1.2 m of 8.91 g/t Au in
archived assessment file reports. All of this work was completed prior to
implementation of National Instrument 43-101.
Historical data and reports
for the property are now being compiled and reviewed. Plans to explore the
property will be announced upon completion of the review process now underway.
