1. PLAN OF ARRANGEMENT COMPLETED
The process to create this new gold exploration company is now complete. Harvest
Gold Corporation is listed and trading on the TSX Venture Exchange. Its symbol
is HVG.
The company has 16,420,565 shares Issued & Outstanding. Shareholders of Rare
Earth Metals Corp own 9,549,093 of those shares. We thank them for their support
and look forward to success in exploration and in stock price appreciation in
2006.
2. HARVEST WEBSITE UP AND RUNNING
The new website is www.harvestgoldcorp.com and we await your feedback.
We would like to point out that the Longstreet Mine Project in Nevada and the
Assean Lake Project in Manitoba, are both former Rare Earth Metals Corp
properties and are advanced exploration projects. Work by REM at Longstreet has
been ongoing since 2003 and at Assean Lake since 2000. The Newsroom at each
project’s website page at www.harvestgoldcorp.com includes the news release
history for both projects.
Please visit the site and e-mail or call with any feedback you feel might assist
us in better telling our story.
3. FALL, 2005 EXPLORATION ACTIVITIES: AN OVERVIEW
Today, we will give you an overview of the work that has been going on this
fall. In the coming days we will issue news releases to provide more specific
detail for each project.
LONGSTREET MINE PROJECT, NYE COUNTY, NEVADA
This seven target gold/silver property is optioned from Minquest, Inc. of Reno,
Nevada and managed by Richard Kern of Reno, Nevada. Harvest has two main
exploration objectives at Longsteet.
First, we want to determine if the oxidized, sheeted vein gold/silver
mineralization system discovered at Longstreet is large enough to allow for an
open pit, heap leach mining operation. The indicated and inferred resource of
4.7 million tonnes grading of 0.63 g/t gold and 15.51 g/t silver, as reported in
the Wardrop Engineering Technical Report dated September 07, 2005, NI 43-101 is
entirely at one target, the “main zone”, which hosts the original Longstreet
Mine worked in the 1920’s. There are three other sheeted vein targets on the
property which have not yet been drilled by the Company.
Second, and the focus of this drill program, is to follow the mineralization
intercepted in the 2004 drill program to depth. Intercepts grading 4.45 g/t Au
and 998.0 g/t Ag over 1.52m in drill hole PR – 17 and 8.38 g/t Au and 77.5 g/t
Ag over 1.52m in drill hole PR - 18 have encouraged us to continue exploring to
depth for higher grade bonanza style deposits discovered elsewhere on the Walker
Lane Trend in Nevada.
A news release will be issued shortly to provide specific details of the 2005
drill programs.
RICE LAKE GOLD BELT, MANITOBA: TWO CLAIM GROUPS
Harvest Gold has optioned two sets of claims in the Rice Lake Gold Belt this
fall. The first option was with prospector Bill Kuran for the Wyatt Claims and
the second option was with long-time Bissett, Manitoba resident and mine hunter,
Steve Lesavage for the Lesavage Claims. We have divided Steve’s claims into two
projects, the Mabel Lake property and the Johnston property.
Bisset, Manitoba hosts the San Antonio Mine, a past producer of over 1.3 million
ounces. The area is also home to several smaller deposits that were mined from
the 1920’s through the 1950’s The San Antonio mine and the milling operation are
being reopened by San Gold Corp (SGR.V).
We believe this western end of the major regional structure running through
Pickle Lake-Red Lake-Rice Lake known as the Wanipigow shear zone has been under
explored and has tremendous discovery potential for new gold deposits. The word
is getting out, though, as there are now seven junior exploration companies
working in the Rice Lake Gold Belt. The infrastructure advantage is excellent
with the mine and mill currently going into production and we have the added
advantage of a mining friendly government in Manitoba, Canada.
The original releases for both Claim Groups are on the website. Sampling and
drill information are forthcoming shortly in separate news releases.
ASSEAN LAKE PROJECT, MANITOBA
This project has had approximately $4,000,000 exploration dollars spent on it
since 2000. Harvest now owns 40% of the 20 km long portion of the Assean Lake
Shear Zone. JV partner Canadian GoldHunter (CGH.T) owns 60%. All share and
property payments have been completed and the Partnership now owns the mineral
rights to the entire 56 claim, 96 square kilometer Assean Lake property. Six
gold zones have been discovered on the property. The most significant is the
Hunt Zone, which measures over 600m (2000’) in length and has been drilled to a
depth of 200m (650’). Drilling highlights on the Hunt Zone include 4.27m (14’)
grading 27 g/t (0.87 oz/t), 2.35m (7.71’) grading 27.9 g/t (0.90 oz/t) Au and
9.37 g/t (0.30 oz/t) Au over 8.15m (26.74’).
Harvest Gold Corp and Canadian GoldHunter will meet shortly to discuss 2006
plans for Assean Lake.
Again, thank you for your patience and support.
Regards,
Rick Mark, CEO
