Harvest Gold Announces the Appointment of Robert G. Cuffney to the Board of Directors

Vancouver, B.C., May 14, 2009. Harvest Gold Corporation (TSX.V: HVG) (the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Cuffney, M. Sc. to the Board of Directors of Harvest Gold Corporation.

Bob Cuffney has over 30 years of experience in the management and implementation of exploration programs for precious metals, base metals, uranium, coal, iron and industrial minerals in the western United States, Alaska, China, Mexico, Indonesia, Philippines, and Mongolia.  His managerial experience includes property and joint venture negotiations, corporate and public relations and corporate finance. Robert is experienced in all technical phases of geological, geochemical and geophysical exploration programs from grass-roots exploration through discovery to development and mine/ore control geology.

Bob states: “I am pleased to join the Board of Harvest Gold.  My association with the company during the past year has convinced me that Harvest Gold has the potential to grow into one of the premier junior explorers in Nevada.  I look forward to the opportunity to advance the Company’s Rosebud property through a successful joint-venture exploration program, and to acquire additional high-quality assets in the prolific mineral belts of Nevada.”
