Harvest Gold Corporation (HVG – TSX.V) September 22, 2008 (the “Company”) has received notice that Christopher James Gold Corporation has decided not to continue with the option agreement signed with Harvest Gold on May 17, 2007 to acquire up to 70% of the Garcia Flats Project in north-central Nevada.
Greg Hill, President of Harvest Gold Corp. (US) states: “We have enjoyed working with Christopher James and appreciate their contributions of expertise and funding to the Garcia Flats project. Although our first drill program at Garcia Flats did not find a mine, we did intersect a buried hydrothermal system with anomalous gold and pathfinder element values where no mineralization was known previously. This success increases our confidence in our ability to target and discover blind gold deposits in Nevada. Garcia Flats remains in our Nevada gold property portfolio.”
Harvest Gold Corporation is a mineral exploration company working in Nevada, USA and Manitoba, Canada. In Nevada, the Company is exploring the 100% optioned Rosebud Mine property, a generative gold property at Garcia Flats in the South Carlin Trend and an advanced property with a gold-silver resource at the Longstreet Mine, in Northern Nye County. In Manitoba, Harvest is exploring three groups of claims in the Rice Lake Gold Belt of south eastern Manitoba and at Assean Lake, Manitoba.
