Harvest Gold Corporation (HVG – TSX.V)
Dec.
21, 2006 (the “Company”) is pleased to report the progress being made on
its
gold exploration projects in Manitoba and Nevada.
A drill program is currently underway at the Company’s Rocky Ridge Gold
Property
in the Lac du Bonnet mining district in South Eastern Manitoba. The
property is
being jointly explored by the Company and Grandview Gold (GVX: TSE). The
program
consists of a minimum of 1,500 meters and is expected to be completed by
the end
of December. The program is testing surface gold showings on the Rocky
Ridge
property (for details see the Company press releases dated November 17th

being
taken and shipped for analysis and results are expected in early 2007.
Regarding the Rosebud Mine project in Nevada, announced November 17,
2006, the
company has now exercised its option to acquire a 100% interest in this
past

and the
we are now conducting a full compilation of exploration data, including
drill
hole results, to identify specific target areas for exploration.” The
Rosebud
mine is reported to have produced 386,247 ounces Au and 1,254,942 ounces
Ag from
1997 – 2000. (Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology, 2005, The Nevada

Industry 2004) Please note that the historical resource figures and
drill
results are from sources that are not compliant with NI 43-101.
In the Rice Lake Gold Belt near Bissett, Manitoba, line cutting has
begun on the
Lesavage North and Con Claims. These grid lines will be used to allow

drilled and
explored this past summer.
